Executive functioning is a set of brain-based skills and habits that help us succeed in school and life. It includes planning, organizing, managing time, self-control, and using strategies such as positive self-talk and calming the brain. These skills help students navigate schoolwork, manage daily responsibilities, and achieve personal challenges with confidence and independence.

Lillian Schwartz has been wonderful in helping my son develop executive functioning skills. She brings patience and a very thoughtful approach to her work. What I appreciate most is how she meets my son where he is. She encourages his growth and helps him feel empowered and more accountable.
My son is building stronger organizational habits and gaining confidence. Homework time at home has become progressively easier, and our morning and evening routines have been much smoother since working with Lillian. His backpack has also improved, and things are more organized and not getting lost as often.
Lillian creates a supportive environment where he feels safe and understood. She truly cares, and we are very grateful for the work she is doing with our family.

As an Executive Function Coach, I work one-on-one with children and teens to help them build the essential life skills they need to succeed in school—and beyond.
Executive function skills are the brain-based abilities that help us plan, stay organized, manage time, regulate emotions, and follow through on tasks. For many students, these skills don’t come naturally—but they can be taught, practiced, and strengthened.
That’s where I come in.
Through personalized coaching, I support students in developing skills such as:
Each session is tailored to the individual child. I help them better understand how their brain works before introducing tools and strategies that actually stick.
My approach is supportive, practical, and relationship-based. I focus not just on giving students tools, but on building self-awareness—so they can begin to take ownership of their learning and feel more confident in their abilities.
I offer personalized support to help students develop the executive functioning skills they need to succeed at school and in life. All of our sessions include updates for parents via email, in person, or phone, so you can stay informed on progress.
2-3 students, 45-minute session – $175

Hi, I’m Lillian Schwartz! I’ve been a teacher for over 18 years and have always been passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills for success. As an Executive Function Coach, my goal is to support students in developing organization, time management, planning, focus, and emotional regulation skills in a way that feels encouraging and personalized to their needs.
When I’m not working with students, I love traveling, spending time outdoors, relaxing at the beach, and making memories with my family. I live in Austin with my husband, our two daughters, and our two dogs. I hope to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel empowered, capable, and successful both in and out of school.
